Who we are

MakerMargin is operated by Chang Hyun Kwon, a sole proprietor (“we”, “us”). By using the site or the service you agree to these terms.

What MakerMargin is

MakerMargin is a web application that calculates estimated profit for handmade sellers from order data and material costs they provide. It is in active development; features described on this site may change.

Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide a real email address and keep your login to yourself. Don’t abuse the service: no scraping, reselling access, reverse engineering, disrupting the service, or uploading data you don’t have the right to use.

Pricing and billing

The paid product is a subscription — $12 per month or $89 per year — with a 14-day free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, and its buyer terms apply to your purchase. See our refund policy.

Your data

Data you upload stays yours. We claim no rights to it beyond what’s needed to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy.

Important limits

MakerMargin produces estimates. Fee calculations are based on published marketplace fee schedules and the data you provide; they are not accounting, tax, or legal advice, and we don’t guarantee they match your marketplace statement to the cent. Verify important numbers with your own records or an accountant. The service is provided “as is”; to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. MakerMargin is not affiliated with or endorsed by Etsy, Inc.
